Overview and Admission

The Wallenberg Centre for Molecular Medicine (WCMM) Research School is dedicated to training the next generation of scientists in molecular and regenerative medicine. Designed for early-career researchers — including PhD students and postdoctoral fellows — the program fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and equips participants with the knowledge and skills needed to advance translational biomedical research.

The Research School provides a dynamic environment where participants gain a broad understanding of regeneration, replacement and repair biology while developing expertise in state-of-the-art experimental and analytical approaches. Through a combination of lectures, workshops and interactive activities, WCMM supports both scientific excellence and professional development.

Focus Areas

  • Interdisciplinary and translational research lectures
  • Theoretical and hands-on training in cutting-edge technologies
  • Research ethics, scientific integrity and publication practices
  • Coaching in grant writing, communication and presentation skills

Program Activities

Participants benefit from a wide range of academic and networking opportunities, including:

  • WCMM lecture series featuring leading national and international researchers
