WCMM ScienceBrew

Illustration science lab

From cells to cities, from the smallest building blocks to the secrets behind our bodies in health and disease. Lund is a thriving research center tackling all kinds of fundamental questions, most of which can be hard to access or understand. Until now!

WCMM Lund presents: the ScienceBrew. Popular science talks by researchers from Lund University. A collection of 10 minute “chalk-talks” around a common theme, with time for questions, discussions and drinks!

No prior knowledge of the field is required. Audience space is limited and will be available on “first come, first served” basis.

See you there!

What is WCMM?

The Wallenberg Center for Molecular Medicine, WCMM, at Lund University is a research centre working to create world-leading innovative research in translational regenerative medicine for improved health care and education.

There are four WCMM centres, located at Lund University, University of Gothenburg, Linköping University and Umeå University. Each center is financed by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation and co-funded by the universities, municipalities, regions, industry organizations and other local funding. The WCMM centres were initiated during 2015 and have presently recruited over 100 new group leaders all together.

The WCMM centre at Lund University consists of 22 preclinical- and clinical research groups in different strong medical disciplines.
