Greetings from the Director

Dear all,
I am very happy to see all ideas discussed and activities decided on at our Retreat in January now taking their final form with the help of all of you! Thank you!

First, the WCMM Lund Friday Club will be launched March 29! Thank you Gesine and Vinay for the good work as coordinators! We in the working group look forward to these scientific seminars. We also really like the idea to have BMC:D11 as our WCMM head quarter at the faculty!

Secondly, the organizing committee including Paul and João have planned the WCMM Lund Research Group´s Day and Summer Party that will be held on June 18. It will be an inspiring and fun day ended by a Summer party together with the post-docs and PhD students!

The WCMM Lund Mentor Program, intended for those that did not participate in the first program, will have its Start-up Seminar April 26. Warmly welcome to this program!

WCMM Lund SAB Meeting will take place 17-18 April and we know that all Fellows are ready for presentation of their laboratories. Thank you all for the excellent planning! We also appreciate that the SAB will get an Introduction and discussion about our Research school. Last we look forward to see you at the Dinner at Biskopshuset April 17!

Best wishes,
Gunilla
